Lent is a period of preparation in the lead up to Easter. It typically consists of 40 days of prayer & fasting, beginning on 14 Feb Ash Wednesday.
This year, we would like to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ to fast from one meal a day, and to donate the money otherwise used for that meal to our newly established “Christian Social Care Fund”. The funds will be used to support fellow members within the church that are struggling (financially, emotional & mental health,…etc), as well as for Social Concern initiatives championed by the CMCA.
